It's that time of year when the DC area gets a little bit spookier, and Halloween fun is lurking around every corner! Are you looking for a festive neighborhood to take your kids trick-or-treating? Or are you looking for a creepy costume party where you can do the monster mash? We have something for everyone!
If you're looking for the best neighborhoods for trick-or-treating, then head over to Kensington, Capitol Hill, Georgetown, Del Ray and Old Town Alexandria. These areas are known to have the most festive decor and lots of little ghouls and goblins running from house to house. Embassy Row also participates in the Halloween fun, and many open their doors to offer a cultural experience.
If trick-or-treating isn't your thing, then head over to the Nightmare on M St. Bar Crawl in Dupont Circle, A Halloween Murder Mystery dinner at Maggiano’s, or even an American Horror Story themed party at Decades.
